Preparing New Part
- Coat the side panel with sealant before painting in the area (1).CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION
Sealant D1 (seam sealing) 310 ml 83422409985 - Paint side panel.
- Release screw (1) and remove guide (2) from the side panel to be replaced.
- Check the guide (2) for damage; replace it if necessary.
- Attach the guide (2) to the new part and tighten the screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Guides to side panel Screw tightening torque 3.0 Nm - Release the seal (1) at the detents (2) and remount it on the new part.
- Release the retaining strip (3) on the detents and remove it.
Check the retaining strip (3) for damage; replace it if necessary.
- Attach the retaining strip (3) to the new part and clip into the detents.
