- Only shift trunk lid slowly hand force.

The bonding surfaces of the new parts may not sharpened or ground.

NOTE:
Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Mark the separating cut (1) on the new part to match the separating cut (2) on the vehicle + a material allowance of approx. 15 - 20 mm and carry out the cut.NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Prepare the area (1) on the new part and on the body for joining with the bonded rivet method.
- Adjust and secure the tail cowling in combination with the tailgate and tail lights.
- In the areas (1) to (3), drill the Ø 4.2 mm bores for the blind rivets.
Area Number 1 14 2 1 3 2 - In the areas (1) to (3), drill the Ø 4.2 mm bores for the blind rivets.
Area Number 1 2 2 1 3 14 - Remove the new part and deburr the bores.
