Installing Tail Cowling

• Pre-clean the bonding surfaces (1) on the new part and on the vehicle with solvent cleaner R2.

• Apply adhesive K5 to bonding surfaces (1).

• Install the new part and rivet in areas (1) to (3) with blind rivets N3.

• Rivet new part in the areas (1) to (3) with blind rivets N3.

  NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
• Rivet the tail cowling in the areas (1) and (2) with punch rivets N4 and N5.

Installing the EMC screw 

• Drill a hole with a diameter of 4.2 mm.

  In the case of glued connections, only drill the hole after the adhesive has fully hardened.

• Screw in the EMC screw.

• Seal the EMC screw with the sealant.

• Press in the tail cowling in area (1) and remove the emerging adhesive.

• Attach the support for bumper cover.
• After the adhesive has hardened, install 3 EMC screws in the areas (2).

Follow-up work
