Removing The Outer Section Of The A-Pillar

• Mark and carry out the separating cut (1) as per dimension a. Thereby disconnect only the outer panel. Dimension a = 40 mm from the center of the hole Ø 25 mm.
• Open welded connections in area (2).

• Mark the separating cut (1) as shown and carry it out. Disconnect only the outer panel.
• Open welded connections in area (2).

  Releasing bonded connections
• Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (3).

• Release the bonded connection in the areas (1).
• Release the outer section of the A-pillar from the cavity sealing (2) and remove.
