Preparing New Parts

• Prepare areas (1) to (3) for joining by welding.

  Observe the replacement procedure for standard production spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (2).

• In area (3), note the bonded connections between the underlying panels!

  As far as possible, prepare area (3) in such a way that the repair spot-welds can be set on the production spot-welds.

• Prepare area (4) for steel on steel structural bonding.

Replacing the coarse thread bolt and threaded weld bolt (steel surface) 

• Renew the Coarse thread bolt (1) and the threaded weld bolt (2).

  Parts:  Coarse thread bolt, threaded weld bolt

  Take the number and position from the component to be replaced or the add-ons.

• Weld Coarse thread bolt (1) and threaded Weld bolt (2) onto the new part.
