Remove tailgate trim panel

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING REAR DECK .
• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE TOP REAR WINDOW FRAME .
• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE REAR WINDOW FRAME ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE .
• Refer to REMOVING THE POWER TAILGATE SWITCH .

• Open the screw cap (1).
• Remove the cover (2).

• Remove the warning triangle (1).

• Loosen screws (1).

• Detach the tailgate trim panel in the marked areas with the clips.
• Feed out the tailgate trim panel over the striker (1) and detach.
