Adjust the lower part of the tailgate lock lower section

Check 

• Check the gap dimensions between the trunk lid and bumper cover (arrows).

Result 

» Gap dimension does not correspond to the specification.

Measure 

• Adjusting tailgate lock.
• Lever out the covers (1) with a suitable screwdriver and remove.
• Loosen screws (2) until the tailgate lock can be shifted.
• Adjust the trunk lid lock in such a way that the tailgate has the predefined gap dimension to the bumper cover.

• Tighten down screws (2).

  Tailgate lock to body
  Hexagon screw M8x20	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Install and clip in the covers (1).
• Adjust the stop pad (1) by twisting in arrow directions.
