Removing the trim panel at the top of the rollover protection system

Precondition 

• Convertible top is open.

  Rear seat backrest is folded.

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BENCH .
• Refer to REMOVING THE HEAD RESTRAINT ON REAR LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR LEFT AND RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINT GUIDES .

Removing the rear left and right strap fitting 

Removing the strap fitting at the rear 

• Loosen screw (1).
• Remove end lining (2).

• Release the expanding rivet (1).
• Loosen screws (2).

• Release the expanding rivet (1) on the left and right.

• Remove the stop pad (1).
• Remove the covers (2).

• Release screws (1) and (2).
• Remove the trim panel (3) and while doing so feed out the safety belts.
