Installing the center cowl upper part
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Driving without the strut brace/front-end strut or tension strut is not permitted.
Driving without the strut brace/front-end strut or tension strut is not permitted.
- Position the center cowl upper part (1).
- Tighten the screws in the marked area.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Cowl upper part to bottom cowl Tightening torque 3 Nm NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed. - Install the tension strut on the shock tower.
- Version A:
Install the tension strut (3) on the shock tower.
Tighten down screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONTension strut on bulkhead M 10x25 screw Tightening torque 56 Nm - Replace screws (2).

- Tighten down screws (2).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Tension strut to shock tower screw Replace screws. Joining torque 56 Nm Angle of rotation 90° NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed. - Install the tension strut on the shock tower.
- Version B:
Install tension strut (3) on the shock tower.
Tighten down screw (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONTension strut on bulkhead M 10x25 screw Tightening torque 56 Nm - Replace the screw (2).

Tension strut to shock tower screw Replace screws. Joining torque 56 Nm Angle of rotation 90°
