Replacing the intake plenum
NOTE:

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

- Loosen clamp (1) .
- Loosen screw (2) .
- Remove the boost pressure sensor (3) .
- Feed out the rubber grommet (1) and remove it.
- Loosen clamp (2)

- Loosen clamp (1)
.
- Remove the screws (arrowed).
- Remove the throttle bodies (1) .
- Replace the sealing ring (1) with the special tool 0 496 714 (00 9 030)

Parts: Sealing ring
- Feed in and install the throttle body (1) .
- Tighten the screws (arrowed).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

- Check the sealing ring (1)
for damage, replace it if necessary.
Parts: Sealing ring
- Apply a thin coat of lubricant to the sealing ring (1) of the boost pressure sensor.
- Insert and install the boost pressure sensor (3) .
- Tighten down screw (2) .

- Secure clamps (1)

- Insert and install the rubber grommet (1) .
- Secure clamps (2) .
