Remove door trim panel
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Get the set of special tools 0 493 752 (00 9 329)
ready.
- Pull the door opener (1).
- Release the detents (3) of the trim (2) with a suitable special tool.
- Remove the trim (2).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Unclip the door trim panel on the clips (1) with a suitable special tool.
- Feed the door trim panel upwards out of the window channel strip at front inner and the operating rod (2).
- Release the detent (1) and feed out the Bowden cable for the inner door opener (2).
The Bowden cable for the inner door opener (2) will feed itself out of the door opener.
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (3) and remove the door trim panel.
