Installing the rear module bracket

Check 

• Check the seal (1)  on the rear module bracket for damage.
• Check the locks (2)  for damage.

Result 

» The seal (1)  on the rear module bracket is damaged.

Measure 

• Replace the rear module bracket.

Result 

» The locks (2)  are damaged.

Measure 

• Replace the locks (2)  .

• Position the rear module bracket (2)  and close the locks (1)  .

• Tighten down screws (2)  .

Module bracket at the rear door
Torx socket M5x12	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Install the rubber grommet (1)  of the Bowden cable for the inner door opener.

• Clip in the detents of the door wiring harness (1)  into the module bracket (2)  .
• Connect and lock the connector of the door wiring harness (1)  at the rear module bracket (2)  .
• Move the power window up until the side window snaps into the holder correctly.
• Remove adhesive tape.

• Refer to INSTALL WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP ON THE REAR DOOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .
