Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL .
- Refer to LOOSEN THE OUTPUT SHAFT FROM THE WHEEL BEARING .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING THRUST FIELD .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE STEERING ASSEMBLY .
- Release the cable for the wheel speed sensor from the holders (1).
- Release the nut (1).NOTE: Counter-hold at the Torx socket.
- Detach the anti-roll bar link (2) from the spring strut.
- Turn swivel bearing outwards.
- Set aside the anti-roll bar link (2).
- Guide out the output shaft (1) from the swivel bearing.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Secure component against falling. - Position the aluminum drift (2) on the output shaft (1).
- Knock out the output shaft (1) from the front axle transmission with an aluminum mandrel (2).
- Remove the output shaft (1) in the direction of the arrow.
