Removing the body pillar trim panels of the two body pillars on the rear left and right

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components  .
Scratches, surface damage  .

• Protect working area.
• Handle tools and components carefully.

• Lever the cover (1) out and unscrew the bolt below it.
• Detach the body pillar trim panel (2) at the clip (3).
• Detach the body pillar trim panel (2) from the detents in areas (4) toward the top.
