Removing the top right and left cover in the engine compartment

Remove the cover in the engine compartment on top 

• Loosen the seal for hood (1) in the area of cover (2) using the special tool 2 298 505 on the clips.
• Release the expanding rivets (arrows).
• Guide out and remove the cover (2).

• Only for F95/F96 LCI vehicles: 
• Loosen the seal for hood (1) in the area of cover (2) using the special tool 2 298 505 on the clips.
• Release the expanding rivets (arrows).
• Loosen screw (3).
• Guide out and remove the cover (2).

Remove the top right cover in the engine compartment 

• Loosen the seal for hood (1) in the area of cover (3) using the special tool 2 298 505 on the clips.
• Release the expanding rivets (arrows).
• Open and remove the cover (2) of the washer fluid reservoir.
• Guide out and remove the cover (3).

• Only for F95/F96 LCI vehicles: 
• Loosen the seal for the hood (1) in the area of the cover (3) on the clips using the special tool 2 298 505. 
• Release the expanding rivets (arrows).
• Open and remove the cover (2) of the washer fluid reservoir.
• Loosen screw (4).
• Feed out the cover (3) and remove.
