Remove left and right output shaft
Remove left output shaft
- Position the aluminum drift (1) on the output shaft (2).
- Knock out the output shaft (2) from the front axle transmission with an aluminum mandrel (1).NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person. - Release swivel bearing (1) from the special tool 2 413 317
on the upper wishbone.
Swivel bearing (1) must not hang down from the brake hose.
- Guide out and remove driven shaft (1) in arrow direction.
- Fasten swivel bearing (1) with the special tool 2 413 317
to protect it from tilting outwards.
Remove right output shaft
- Position the aluminum drift (2) on the output shaft (1).
- Knock out the output shaft (1) from the front axle transmission with an aluminum mandrel (2).NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person. - Release the swivel bearing (1) from the special tool 2 413 317
on the upper wishbone.
- Pull spring strut (1) forward slightly in driving direction.
- Guide out and remove driven shaft (2) in arrow direction.
Secure the swivel bearing
- Fasten the swivel bearing (1) by using the special tool 2 413 317
to protect it from tilting outwards.
Swivel bearing (1) must not hang down from the brake hose.
