Releasing the front left and right brake calipers

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Releasing the front brake caliper

Release the brake hose (1) from the holders (2).

Remove cable (2) from holder (3).
Only left: Remove cable (1) from holder (3).

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The screws must remain installed and must not be loosened.
Make sure that the screws are (1) not unscrewed.

Loosen screws (1).
Remove the brake caliper from the swivel bearing in the arrow direction.

Tie up the brake caliper (1) with the special tool 2 413317.
Do not hang the brake caliper from the brake hose.
