Installing the coolant expansion tank for the low-temperature

• Position the coolant expansion tank for the low-temperature

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
Collect and dispose of emerging fluids.
Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

• Connect and lock the coolant hose (1).
• Press and lock the coolant lines (3) in the lock (2).

• Illustrated on the S63T4: 
• Remove pressure pipe between exhaust turbocharger and charge air cooler.

• Tighten the screw (1) on the coolant expansion tank.
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Coolant expansion tank for low temperature to the crossing
  Screw K50x18	tightening torque	2.6 Nm

• Top up coolant to maximum mark. 
• Top up coolant.
• Install the sealing cap (2) of the expansion tank for the charge air cooler.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
Only flexible hose pipes may be clamped off.

• Release the special tool 0 491 256 (13 3 010) at the coolant hose (1) and remove it.
