Removing the fan cowl

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE TOP LEFT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT and REMOVING THE TOP RIGHT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING UPPER CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT-END STRUT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR TOP CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE INTAKE FILTER HOUSING ON THE LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT UNFILTERED-AIR DUCT .
Precondition
Ignition is switched off.
- Unclip wiring harness mounting (1).
- Release the clamp (1) from the fan cowl (3).
- Release the bracket (2) from the fan cowl (3).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Unlock lock (2).
- Feed out the auxiliary coolant pump (3) from the high-temperature coolant radiator (4) in the direction arrowed, and set it aside.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Disconnect clamp (3).
- Unlock the locks (1).
- Carefully guide the fan cowl (2) out in the direction of the arrow and remove it.
