Installing both D-pillar trim panels

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Check the clamps (1) and clips (3) on the D-pillar trim panel (2) for damage, replace if necessary.

• Fit the D-pillar trim panel (1) and clip it into the clips (2).

• Feed in the D-pillar trim panel (3) below the sealing lip on the tailgate seal.
• Clip in D-pillar trim panel (3) from the clip (5) and from the clamps (4).
• Tighten down screws (2).
• Fasten expanding rivet (1).
