Installing the charge air crossing

• Guide in charge air crossing (1) carefully in the direction of the arrow.
• Ensure that radiator (2) is not damaged.

• Insert the charge air crossing (1) and install it.

• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

  The connectors (1) must engage audibly.

• Insert and install the charge air crossing (1) in the arrow direction.

• Secure the clamp (1).

• Check seal (1) for damage, replace if necessary.

Replacing the damaged seal 

• Remove damaged seal.
• Clean the gasket groove (1) with a dry cloth.

  The gasket groove (1) must be clean.

• Replace gasket.

• Install the seal dry without lubricant or mounting agent.

• Thread in seal and install.
• Make sure that the seal is installed correctly in the gasket groove (1).
• Make sure that the sealing lip (2) is directed to the inside as shown.

• Lock clamp (1).

• Connect the charge air crossing (2) to the charge air duct (1).

• Hook cooling module (1) with cooler module mounts (2) into side members (3) in the direction of the arrow.

• Tighten the screw (1) on the right cooler module mount.

Cooling module to side member
M6	tightening torque	10 Nm

• Tighten the screw (1) on the left cooler module mount.

• Unlock and remove the cable tie (2) from the coolant radiator (1).
