Adjusting headlights

NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Adjust the headlights at the adjusting screws (1) and (2).
A definite allocation of adjustment screws is not possible.
The adjustment screw (1) is primarily used for the height adjustment.
The adjustment screw (2) is primarily used for the lateral adjustment.
- Adjust the height at the adjustment screw (1).
- US version:
Only adjust the lateral adjustment setting if the plug on the adjustment screw for the lateral adjustment is missing or damaged.
If applicable, remove the damaged plug .
- Make the lateral adjustment at the adjustment screw (2).
- Perform reference run. To do so, turn the headlights off and back on.
- Check the headlight and adjust if necessary.
- US version:
If the lateral adjustment has been checked or corrected: Replace the plug and press it into the adjustment screw for the lateral adjustment without damage .
