Remove the tail light on the trunk lid

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE POWER TAILGATE SWITCH .
• Refer to REMOVING THE TRUNK LID LIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING BOTH TRUNK LID COVERS .
• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE TOP REAR WINDOW FRAME .
• Refer to REMOVING BOTH TRIM PIECES FOR THE SIDE REAR WINDOW FRAME .
• Refer to REMOVING TAILGATE TRIM PANEL .

• Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (1) from the tail light (2).

• Unscrew the nuts (1) of the tail light (2) and remove with the clamping claw.

• Release detents (1) in arrow direction and remove the tail light (2) to the outside.
