Install airbag unit

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
After replacing the airbag unit (M Sport steering wheel) or possibly converting the standard steering wheel and airbag unit on the M Sport steering wheel, a software update or a programming/coding via ISTA must be performed.
After replacing the airbag unit (M Sport steering wheel) or possibly converting the standard steering wheel and airbag unit on the M Sport steering wheel, a software update or a programming/coding via ISTA must be performed.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Press airbag unit (1) with uniform pressure in arrow direction into the steering wheel until the airbag unit (1) audibly and noticeably engages.
Follow-up work
