Installing the coolant line between the engine mount and crankcase

- Do not use any metal-cutting tools.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The sealing surfaces must be free of oil, grease and cleaning agents.
The sealing surfaces must be free of oil, grease and cleaning agents.
- Check sealing ring (1) for damage, replace if necessary.
- Coat the sealing ring (1)
with fresh coolant.
- Feed in and install the coolant temperature sensor (1)
.
The locks (arrows) must engage audibly.
- Clean sealing surfaces (1)
with special tool 0 495 102 (11 4 470)
.
- Coat the sealing ring (1)
on the coolant line (2)
with fresh coolant.
- Insert the coolant line (3)
and install it.
The lock (2) must engage audibly.
- Tighten the screws (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Coolant line to crankcase M6X25 Tightening torque 8 Nm - Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Guide in the coolant line (2)
and install it.
The coolant line (2) must engage audibly.
- Insert and install the holder (2) .
- Tighten the screws (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Tank vent valve holder to crankcase M6x16 Tightening torque 8 Nm - Feed in and position the wiring harness section (2) of the sensor system 1.
- Secure the clamp (1)
.CAUTION: Improper routing of the positive battery cable .
Risk of short circuits!- Route the positive battery cable without abrasions and do not trap.
- Feed in and position the positive battery cable (2) .
- Fasten the clamp (1)
