Installing the protective strip on the front door
- Lever out the stuck clips (2) from the door outer skin with the special tool 2 298 505 and fasten on the protective strip (1).
- Check the clips (2) and the holder for damage.
Damaged clips (2) or clips (2) without sealing ring must be replaced.
With damaged holders or centering pins, the protective strip (1) must be replaced.
- Correctly position the protective strip (1) with the centering pin and clip in on the clips (2) starting from the center to the outer.
