Installing windshield
- Replace water guide element (1) on the left and right.
Parts: Water guide element
Do not mix up the left and right water guide elements.
- Clean bonding surface.

- Detach the liner from the water pipe element (1).
- Align the water pipe element (1) to the mark (dashed line) of the A-pillar (3).
The water guide element (1) must remain under the mount (2) of the hood seal as shown.
- Align the water guide element (1) flush with the A-pillar (3) as shown and press firmly into place.
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Prepare the glue cartridge with the standard nozzle C.
- Apply an adhesive bead within the marks (1) on the windshield.
- Carefully feed in the windshield with the special tool 0 492 609 (51 3 010) between the hood and the windshield panel.
- Fit the windshield at top.
- Evenly align the windshield at left and right.
- Fit the windshield at the bottom and press.
- Press upwards until the rubber frame of the windshield rests evenly on the roof.
- Fasten the windshield in this installation position with the two yellow plastic adhesive tapes (1).

NOTE: The windshield rubber frame (1) is taped to both A-pillars (2).
- Fasten double-sided adhesive tape (3) on windshield rubber frame (1) on both A-pillars (2).
