Flushing and bleeding front brakes (after part exchange)
NOTE:
Description is for right component only. The procedure on the left side is identical.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
2 different fixed calipers are installed.
2 different fixed calipers are installed.
- In both versions of the fixed caliper, first vent at the inner vent valve (1)
. Then vent at the outer vent valve (2)
.
- Start flushing at the right front.
- Connect the vent hose with the collecting vessel to the bleed valve (1) on front right brake caliper.
- Open the bleed valve (1) and purge it until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges.
- Close bleed valve (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Front bleed valve from brake caliper manufacturer Brembo Bleed valve tightening torque 18 Nm TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONFixed caliper front bleed valve from brake caliper manufacturer Continental Bleed valve tightening torque 15 Nm - Connect the vent hose with the collecting vessel to the bleed valve (1) on the front right brake caliper.
- Open the bleed valve (1) and purge it until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges.
- Close bleed valve (1)
