- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Insert the separating cord (about 50 cm) from the special tool 2 357 248 in the special tools 2 326 501 .
- Carefully insert the separating cord sideways starting from under the rear spoiler (1) .
- Carefully release the rear spoiler (1) with the special tool 2 326 501 with pulling movements from the tailgate and remove it upwards.
- Remove the adhesive residue from the tailgate.
