Removing the loading edge trim

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .

• Open hook and loop tape (1)  and remove the warning triangle (2)  .

• Loosen the expanding rivet (1)  .
• Loosen screw (2)  .
• Unclip loading edge trim upwards from detents (3)  .
• Guide the loading edge trim beneath the sealing lip of the tailgate seal and remove it.
