Replacing the speaker cover on the side trim panel
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE INNER DOOR SILL COVER STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BENCH .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TWEETER IN THE REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING MID-RANGE SPEAKER AT THE REAR OF THE SIDE TRIM PANEL .
- Drill out and/or grind down the spot-welds (arrows).
- Feed out the speaker cover (1)
and remove.
- Remove the welding residue on the side trim panel with a scalpel.
- Replace the speaker trim (1)

Parts: Speaker trim
- Install speaker trim (1) .
- Secure all welding pins (arrows) using the lock washers (2) .
