Remove the center console trim

Preliminary work

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components.
Scratches, surface damage.

Protect working area.
Handle tools and components carefully.

Release and remove the center console trim (1) as shown with the special tool 2 298 505 upwards out of the detents.
Release the front area upward very carefully in order to prevent damage to the center console trim.
