Punch the contour of the 12 V socket

- Measure the reference dimension on the template (1) and cut it out as shown.
- Fix the template (1) as shown with a standard pencil (3) on the existing bore.
- Drill through the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2) on the mark with a drill at ø 10 mm from the special tool 5 A63 022 .
- Remove the template (1).NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Install the special tool 5 A63 022 as shown and press together by turning the screw (1) clockwise.
- Release the screw (1) after cutting through the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel and remove the special tool 5 A63 022

- Cut out the template (1) as shown, place it again and attach it with the adhesive tape.
- Carefully cut out the groove for the 12V socket with a suitable tool from the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel.
- Remove the template (1).
