Remove the tailgate button

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE POWER TAILGATE SWITCH .
• Refer to REMOVING TAILGATE TRIM PANEL .

• Disengage detents (1) from inside and guide out the tailgate button (2) to the bottom.
• Unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.
• (2) lnstall tailgate button.

  The tailgate button (2) must be replaced after each disassembly.
