Refer to
REMOVING FRONT ENTRANCE COVER STRIP
.
Lever the front sill trim (1) out of the clips (2) with the special tool
0 490 534 (00 9 317)
to the top.

Disconnect plug connection (1).
Loosen edge protection (2) in area of the cable.
Feed out the cable and remove the front sill trim.
