Remove the speaker cover from the rear door trim panel

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON THE DOOR HANDLE .
Refer to REMOVING THE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Drill out and/or grind down the spot-welds (1).
Detach the plug connection (2).
Feed out speaker cover (3).
