Remove the window frame trim from the front door
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to PREPARING THE SPECIAL TOOL .
- Refer to REMOVING DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON THE WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to REMOVING THE EXTERIOR MIRROR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Carefully remove the rubber window seal (1) in the working area.
- Loosen screws (2) .
- Fold the front window frame trim (3) back slightly and guide it out to the top.
