Replacing drive belt for alternator (N55T0 Engine) (2016-2018)

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Routing of drive belt without Dynamic Drive

NOTE: Mark the direction of travel of the drive belt if it is to be reused.

Turn belt tensioner (2) in direction of arrow until belt tensioner bore hole is flush on crankcase.

Hold belt tensioner (2) under tension.

Secure special tool 11 0 390.

Remove drive belt (3).

Secure special tool 11 0 390.

Remove drive belt (3).

Installation note:

Check drive belt for correct installation position and, if reusing, observe direction of travel. Risk of damage.
