Partially release acoustic cover of oil sump

WARNING: Working on 12 V electrical system.
Risk of short circuits! Risk of fire!

Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
Detach battery ground lead from battery.
For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.

Loosen nut (1) .
Thread out positive battery cable (2) and set it aside.
Loosen nut (3) .
Remove cable (4) and put to one side.

Unlock and release the clamps (arrows).
Remove cable (1) and put to one side.

Unlock and loosen clamp (1) .
Unlock and loosen clamp (2) .
Remove cable (3) and put to one side.

Loosen clamp (1) .
Unlock and loosen clamp (2) .
Release the acoustic cover (3) of the oil pan and set it aside.
