Installing the catalytic converter for cylinders 1 to 6 (front axle removed)

Replace seal (1) on catalytic converter.
Parts: Gasket

If necessary, replace clamp (1) .
Parts: cl
Feed in catalytic converter and secure with the clamp (1) .

Tighten clamp.

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Catalytic converter to exhaust turbocharger
cl Replace clamp after disassembly.	Tightening torque	14 Nm

Tighten bolts (1) of catalytic converter (2) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Catalytic converter to holder
M8 Replace screws.	Tightening torque	28 Nm

Tighten down screws (1) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Holder, catalytic conv. to transmission
M8x16 Replace screws.	Tightening torque	21 Nm
