Engine - Camshaft (2 Of 3) - Repair (G12)

• 11 31 Camshaft
  • 11 31 017 Replacing both right camshafts (750i xDrive, 2016-2022)
    • Removing the exhaust camshaft of cylinder bank 1
    • Removing the intake camshaft of cylinder bank 1
    • Install intake camshaft of bank 1
    • Install exhaust camshaft of the bank 1
  • 11 31 032 Remove and install/replace the left intake camshaft (750i xDrive, 2016-2022)
    • Removing the intake camshaft of cylinder bank 2
    • Installing intake camshaft of cylinder bank 2
  • 11 31 034 Remove and install/replace the right intake camshaft (750i xDrive, 2016-2022)
    • Removing the intake camshaft of cylinder bank 1
    • Install intake camshaft of bank 1
  • 11 31 036 Remove and install/replace the left exhaust camshaft (750i xDrive, 2016-2022)
    • Removing the exhaust camshaft of cylinder bank 2
    • Installing cylinder bank 2 exhaust camshaft
  • 11 31 038 Remove and install/replace the right exhaust camshaft (750i xDrive, 2016-2022)
    • Removing the exhaust camshaft of cylinder bank 1
    • Install exhaust camshaft of the bank 1
  • 11 31 052 Replacing both timing chains (750i xDrive, 2016-2022)
    • Removing both timing chains and installing or replacing them
  • 11 31 070 Check camshaft timing on left side (750i xDrive, 2016-2022)
    • Check the VANOS adjuster of cylinder bank 2
    • Check timing of cylinder bank 2
    • Remove the special tools to disconnect the crankshaft
