Install the headlining (with sliding/tilting sunroof)

Precondition 

The slide/tilt sunroof lid is open.

The front seats have been fully adjusted towards the rear bottom.

The front seat backrests have been fully adjusted towards the rear.

• Insert the headlining through the rear door on the driver's side.

  Slightly bend the headlining to insert the headlining in the area around the C-pillar.

• Check clips (2)  and replace if necessary.

  The clips must not be damaged or missing.

• Position the headlining (1)  and clip into the clips (2)  . Ensure a correct fit in the process.
• Feed the headlining (1)  into the edge protection.

• Clip the headlining in the clips (1)  .

• Equipment specification with rear air conditioning/vanity mirror at the rear: 

  Tighten screws (1)  left and right.

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Headlining
  	tightening torque	1.4 Nm

• Tighten the screws (1)  .

• Position the trim (1)  and clip into the clips (2)  .
