- Before working on the airbag, disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

- Replace faulty clips (3).
Parts: Clips
- Remove the clips (3) remaining in the body and insert them into the trim panel (2).
- Thread in the A-pillar trim panel (2) at the dashboard and secure it with the clips (3) on the A-pillar.
- Make sure that the edge protection (4) is fitted correctly.
- Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
A-pillar trim panel to body Tightening torque 2.3 Nm - Clip in the cover of the screw (1).
