Install the trim strip on the trunk lid

- Position the trim strip (1) as shown centrally on the trunk lid and flush with the lower edge and fasten with adhesive tape (2).
- Mark the contours of the trim strip (1) with adhesive tape (2) as shown.
- Mask the entire adhesive area of the trim strip with adhesive tape (1) as shown.
- Carefully clean the bonding surface with solvent cleaner R2.CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION
Cleaning agent R2 500 ml 83190417324 - Apply Sika activator-205 very thinly on the bonding surface and let dry.
Make absolutely sure that Sika activator-205 is not applied outside of the bonding surface.
ADHESIVE SPECIFICATIONActivator-205 250 ml, Bottle 83190030155 - Detach the liner (protective film) from the adhesive strips of the trim strip (1).
- With a support person, align the trim strip (1) with the primer treated area and press onto the trunk lid.
