51 46 050 Removing and installing/replacing top cover on tail panel

Preliminary work needed: 

• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .

Release covers (1).

Loosen screws (1) and remove lashing points.

Tightening torque 51 47 1AZ .

Remove trim (2) upwards.

Installation note: 

Make sure edge protection for trunk lid (2) is correctly seated on cover.
