51 16 366 Removing and installing/replacing right glove compartment with housing

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Preliminary work needed: 

• Refer to REMOVING RIGHT FRESH AIR GRILLE .

Open glove compartment lid.

Lever out protective caps and release screws underneath.

Pull out glove compartment by approx. 10 cm.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Remove glove compartment in arrow direction.

When replacing, remount the following parts according to the equipment: 

• GLOVE COMPARTMENT DAMPER .
• GLOVE COMPARTMENT COVER .
• GLOVEBOX LIGHT .
