(Removing the front seats on the left and right)

Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the left and right side.
Removing the front strap fitting
- Slide the cover (1) on the seat belt (2) upward.
- Turn the strap fitting (2) toward the rear.
- Carefully pull the lock plate (1) outwards in the direction of arrow and simultaneously feed out the strap fitting (2) to the front.
- Pull strap fitting (2) outward to remove.
Deactivate vehicle electrical system
- Deactivate the vehicle electrical system.

- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Cover the door sill using protective covers.
- Place the front seat fully to the rear and disconnect the plug connector (1).NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE

Heavy components can lead to injury or damage.- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Remove the front seat with the assistance of an support person.
