(Releasing the ground cable of the seat occupancy mat (CIS))

Release cable tie (1).

Unlock the connector housing in the sequence (1) to (4) and pull it in arrow direction from the connector housing (5).

Unlock the connector (1) and put it aside.
Unlock and disconnect the connector (2) for the seat occupancy mat (CIS).
Feed out the cable (3) for the seat occupancy mat (CIS) from the holders (arrows).

Carefully drill out the rivet nut (1) for the ground cable (2) with a standard tool (3).

Check the eye (1) for the ground cable for damage. Replace the seat occupancy mat (CIS) if necessary.

Release the detent (1) for the cable (2) of the seat occupancy mat (CIS) on the seat mechanism (3).
