Attach door sill trim panel

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Check the mounts (1) of the door sill trim panel for damage, replace if applicable.
Check all the detents of the door sill trim panel for damage; if necessary, replace the door sill trim panel.

Variant with door sill trim panel M Sport:
Check all the detents of the door sill trim panel for damage; if necessary, replace the door sill trim panel.

When replacing the M Sport door sill trim panel:
Pull off the liner (1) from the door sill trim panel and clean the marked adhesive area.

CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Cleaning agent R2 500 ml 83190417324
When replacing the M Sport door sill trim panel:
Detach the liner from the adhesive clip (1) .

Bond the adhesive clip (1) within the mark for the door sill trim panel and press firmly.

Variant with door sill trim panel M Sport:
Engage the door sill trim panel at the front on the detents (1) .

Feed in the door sill trim panel (2) and position it correctly.
Engage door sill trim panel (2) at the front beginning with the detents along the dotted line.
