Replacing the cushion for the front seat
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Only US/Canadian version of front passenger seat with seat occupancy mat (PODS):
The entire surface of the seat occupancy mat is bonded to the cushion and can only be replaced in combination with the cushion.
If the seat occupancy mat or cushion is defective, both parts must always be replaced together.
Full functionality can only be guaranteed with the original BMW spare part.
After installing the seat cover, the seat occupancy mat must be approved with the BMW programming system with the corresponding service function.

The heating mat is glued to the foam pad and cannot be dismantled without being destroyed.
When replacing the heating mat, a new one must always be installed with a new foam pad.
